Positives: Brilliant care by the Doctors, Nurses and Physiotherapists. Negatives: - Handover between shifts could have been better, especially between HCAs. - On occasions, apparently poorly trained HCAs. - Only offered and given a wash on 1 of 3 days. (It was impossible to do it myself.) - On one day, compared with the other days, it appeared that the ward was under-staffed.

Suggested improvements
Address all of the identified negatives: - Handover between shifts could have been better, especially between HCAs. - On occasions, apparently poorly trained HCAs. - Only offered and given a wash on 1 of 3 days. (It was impossible to do it myself.) - On one day, compared with the other days, it appeared that the ward was under-staffed.

Mr Toma was compassionate, took time to explain and answer any questions that I or my wife had. He inspired confidence in his diagnosis and treatment plan. In every respect, he was exceptional.
