I was not informed in a clear and precise manner for the sedation. I wished I had received full details of this prior to come for the procedure to decide. I asked conscious sedation but I cannot remember anything that happened after entering the procedure room and being back in the recovery room. I felt asleep for the rest of the day while I had requested the lightest sedation possible just to be relaxed during procedure. I was not inform about details of procedure and risks. The consultant made jokes about giving me sedation and asking me to sign the document related to sedation (which I found out was wrong). I will make sure I am not being taking care of by this consultant anymore. Only the nurses that I met were nice and kind.

Give clear information about patients regarding sedation and respect their choice. I was given fentanyl 100mg for conscious sedation... Be empathetic with patient who are anxious around health Give information and ask consent for urinal test prior the procedure??? Ensure to call the person that is meant to collect the patient on time
