Sam Rajaratnam's team was exceptional in their care and management of my operation and pain. All the other nursing staff were brilliant and caring and absolutely charming. The catering staff which I was in room 402 were charming and efficient.

Suggested improvements
I was told on Friday 8 Septemebr at 5.00 p.m that I would be moving rooms from 402 in half an hour - at 7.25 p.m. I did eventually move rooms. However my dinner which had been ordered for 7.00 p.m. had been cancelled and reordered for room 427. THis did not arrive until 8.40 p.m. by which time I was really tired and was cross about the whole move - I quite understand that I had to be moved to make it easier for the staff but you have to make sure that this is done more smoothly. Especially as even the next day my breakfast which I had ordered for 8.00 a.m. did not arrive until 8.40 a.m. as they had forgotten to order it.

Sam Rajaratnam and his team gave me the most exceptional care and were always on call if I had a query. Barry was incredible with the way he managed my pain and Christine was such a wonderful and charming help answering any queries I had. She popped in several times a day to make sure I was ok and explained the x-ray of my knee op which was fascinating.
