The Day procedure was fairly straight forward

The phlebotomist in my opinion seemed inexperienced and botched a few tries including a collapsed vein. Having had enough cannulas and given lots of blood locations and angles were unusual to say the least. This procedure took far too long 45 + mins and consequently everything else proceeding was rushed and delayed the op by 15 mins nb you could see she was in a dilema and i had lost trust and suggested reverting to Vicky the nurse to take the blood; no problem first time quick and painless. Having got in early to enable these procedures this was a disappointment and created the wrong pre op mindset and tension.
