Overall the care was good but as outlined below there are areas where improvements could be made. On the positive side the last time I was here two months ago the catering service was very unresponsive and poor whereas this time I had no complaints and it seemed to have improved significantly.

Suggested improvements
When I arrived I was booked into a room which had not been prepared eg unmade bed. The escort immediately took me back to reception where I had to wait till I was allocated a new room. The new room did not have any chairs ( which I had to ask for), the toilet was I flushed and it did not appear as spotlessly clean as I would expect for a hospital room. I don’t know what to expect but given that there was a slight concern about my oxygen levels I might have expected that I would be checked on during the night but wasn’t. The bed I find too noisy when it makes noises as it adjusts when you move. I can understand an air bed. For people with long stays to avoid bed sores but not for 1 or 2 nights. The fact the bathroom light stays on all night makes the room too light given the gap under the door. A motion sensor during the night which would switch the light on if need be would help.
