All medical care when delivered was excellent but I was not always kept informed of times of treatment which led to anxiety. Eg I thought my operation was first on the list at 8am and arrived at 6.30 am as requested. First on the list for my Consultant turned out to be 9.45 and I was not informed of this until I pressed nurses for info. The second day after the op I didn’t know when the physios were coming and panicked about this too. When they finally came I we fixed times for subsequent sessions which was much better.

Suggested improvements
As well as keeping me informed of timings as mentioned above, the food and food service was not reliable, often came late and was often cold. Some drinks never came at all. This is the key area where the Clinic needs to improve,- perhaps patients could order food on line and track it themselves to avoid pestering busy nurses. This may seem a minor issue but good service in all areas contributes greatly to the wellbeing and recovery of patients I think.

I was impressed on my first consultation and immediately felt happier. I was very happy with my choice.

All the nurses were excellent and patient and so were the physiotherapists. The Pain Manager gave great support to. The Consultant was very helpful and reassuring on his visits to the ward after surgery.
