The nursing team, both in ITU and on the 5th Floor, were extremely dedicated and attentive. It was especially notable that one always felt foremost a 'person' rather than a 'patient' throughout the experience.

Suggested improvements
Just on a personal level, the pain medication meant that my tolerance to the food was limited and I would have preferred a few simpler choices, perhaps 'less food, more often'.

It was extremely comforting to be able to discuss the surgery in detail and be genuinely involved in the process.

All of the staff were outstanding but unfortunately I can't remember everyone's names, especially in ITU. For names I can recall, Kim, Katie and Krisa - and the physio team - all made the experience as pleasant as possible.
