I think the nursing staff were outstanding on the 5th Floor, they all worked as a team, were kind, caring, considerate, helpful, particularly Emma and Erin totally amazing. From the nursing team to catering staff and the porter Babs they were all 1st class, I could not have received better care. The best hospital that I have ever had surgery in. It was also my birthday on the day of my surgery and a couple of days later the chef made me a birthday cake which was amazing and and a great example of making the experience for me as a patient exceptional.

Suggested improvements
Food could have been a little better, the vegetables were very hard and I couldn't eat them, toast was very cold but I'm only telling you not to complain but to maybe improve, however I was on light diet so I think everything was just a little bland which is no fault of the hospital. Lines of communication with insurance provider, hospital and patient could be a little more joined up.

My consultants Mr Vashisht and Mr Bahn and not forgetting the anaesthetist Mr Liu were 1st class, I was very scared and they all put me at ease. Mr Vashisht left no stone unturned with my investigations and I was very unsure, losing confidence and disillusioned after having previous failed surgeries but he understood and explained everything very clearly.I felt that he really cared about getting the right outcome for me.

The whole experience as detailed above and below was 1st class.
