All of the staff once we got past admissions were excellent! The care was beyond what was expected and I was very well looked after. Staff were professional, considerate of others and very experienced. Nothing was too much for them.

The person at the main reception told us to sit in the wrong place so we were not checked in for a long time. We got there at 6.50am and we’re not checked in until 7.40am. At no point before meeting the admission lady were we told that we would have to pay the hospital costs upfront, we received no prior communication about the method of payment. The amount that the consultant had quoted me was vastly different to the amount the hospital wanted to charge and we were not allowed upstairs until we had paid the full amount. Due to this delay I was running behind to my operation, which was due to be just after 9am, it was all rather rushed and stressful upon arrival which was not what we expected from a private hospital. Better communication prior to admission about payment and discrepancies between quotes. More staff on admissions for early morning surgery slots.

Mr Spalding spent over my allotted time at the initial consultation and was extremely thorough. He discussed all of the options and worked with my circumstances to come up with a suitable plan. At all times he was professional and worked really hard to organize my operation in a matter of days, which may be the best things that has happened to me in years!

Mr Tim Spalding- he went above and beyond to visit me and fully explain his findings post op to my mother and myself. This has been the best operation I have had so far and I have had 9 so tried many hospitals!
