All aspects of the medical side of your care giving was beyond reproach. The portering and nursing staff and those involved in checking in were all Absolutely lovely, kind and informative. The surgical specialists and theatre Staff were friendly and relaxed and made the whole experience un-frightening And reassuring. However, your admin staff and systems ate worthy of Faulty Towers. I was phoned at lunchtime the day before the operation to be Informed I needed to come in by 6.30 the next morning. Luckily for me I had chased and chased a couple of weeks earlier to get this info. System Wide the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. When you arrive at Portland Place there are always three or so people Hanging about looking bored but you have to wait up to ten minutes to see One of the two receptionists, even if you have already checked in and Paid online. Why? Why only two receptionists? Why can't the Greeting staff see on their ipads that you are all ready to go up? The secretarial staff seem to be on a wholly different planet. The day before this procedure I had decided to find a new GP Because I was so fed up with the hopelessness of the admin but The wonderful experience at Grosvenor Place has pursued me to Give it one more chance. I suspect all the effort has gone into getting a world class medical Set up, less so the support systems.
