Share review of Cleveland Clinic London Hospital
Overall my hospital stay was excellent. Could not ask for anything more. The service I received was what I hoped for and above.
A more detailed breakdown of the hospital costs would have been quite useful, instead of the vague breakdown I received.
Dr Redfern offered to explain things before the operation but I told him not to tell me too much as it would only make me more nervous.
Personally I prefered to hear after the operation how he got on. He spoke briefly to me as I was coming round from the anaesthetic. I had hoped to see him again the following day for a full review but instead I saw his assistant, which was somewhat disappointing for me
Al B, the male nurse who looked after me, the day after my operation (20th April) was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He always came into the room smiling, listened to all my concerns patiently, dealt with all my issues in a professional and respectful manner. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Absolutely amazing, truly exceptional nurse. Also, Roxanne the physio lady stood out for me. Very calm, patient, considerate. The nurses (both female) who looked after me on my first day and night (19th) were also very good. Unfortunately I was too nervous then too out of it to remember their names. Everyone who came in to see me was delightful, not forgetting Christopher who showed me how to use the remote control and explained how things worked.
