The answer to most, if not all of my queries or concerns were met with positive answers by both nurses and 3 seperate doctors who dealt woth me.

Although concerns resulted in a positive verbal response (as in the above) initially, a couple of times nothing actually was done at all, as if I hadn’t raised the concern at all. Ie - yes we will look into that. Actually, no we won’t.

My consultant was very direct and transparent about the operation including the problems, discomfort, time scale, likelyhood of success and more. I like honesty as well as optimism.

I was assigned several nurses over a 3 day period, all very good but a couple of which being exceptionally helpful and lnowledgible.
