Excellent service, but some improvements could be made with requesting food and drink on the ward

Suggested improvements
The food/drink buzzer sent an alert through to the ward nurses, but not the kitchens. The nurses were understandable busy with nursing jobs, particularly at busy times such as early morning. All I wanted to do was request or make a cup of tea in the morning (this was 06.30, I had ordered breakfast for 8.30) but there were no tea or coffee making facilities either in the room or on the ward. This would have greatly improved my experience. Nurses kindly offered to make me tea when not busy eg at night. Could you employ someone to do tea and coffee rounds in the morning?



Front door and check in staff were attentive and slick. The nursing staff on 5th floor were excellent, even though the ward was full.
