The staff at the Cleveland Clinic, in ICU and on the 5th floor were outstanding. They were caring, compassionate and took the time to explain things clearly. I felt in control of my health and wellbeing and can’t thank them enough. You have a fantastic team of consultants, nurses and HCA’s and an environment that allowed me to recover comfortably. My husband felt comfortable leaving me to return to the children, I was in safe hands.

Nick was and is exceptional. He is obviously well respected and admired by the team too! I had been on hand every step of the way, he’s a excellent surgeon and human being.

Nancy and Ruth in ICU were angels and made be me and my husband comfortable. Nancy in particular cared for me with such care, making me a cuddle cushion to ease my pain when I coughed. When she took me to the 5th floor I was genuinely emotional about leaving her. The staff on the 5th floor were amazing, all of them caring and compassionate. Everyone took the time to make me feel like an individual and explained my meditation to me. I was particularly grateful to Mackenzie, she was a ray of sunshine. She removed my catheter and chest drains, with the help of Erin and Holly. The did so whilst communicating throughout and telling me how to control my breathing. I told Mackenzie how nervous I was about reading my results on my chart and she took the time to explain my blood test results to me. She is an exceptional nurse and a genuinely lovely human, as are all your staff. Aris also looked after me for a few days over the coronation weekend, with Frank (HCA). The were a joy to be around. On removing my dressings Aris was so positive about the scar and stitches, that it immediately made me feel more comfortable. Thank you to all of the staff on the 5 th floor for the care and compassion you showed to me and my family. You are all real life angels!
