I was very pleased with my consultant's initial assessment of my need for treatment. However I have been left confused following the procedure. I was not told how significant the discovery and removal of the adenomatous polyp was. Nor was I told whether I would be informed either way of the results of the analysis of the biopsy.

The Colonoscopy Diagnostic report does not make it clear to me whether I will be notified of the results of the analysis of the biopsy following the removal of an adenomatous polyp. Nor was this discussed with me by the consultant visited me after the procedure.
