Spoke too many people who were all preoccupied with scanning my wrist tag. Most were ill informed about my one night stay, on admission day they expected me to go home that day...on the 2nd day they expected me to stay another day. I asked twice for someone to raise a ticket to the IT folks to get the apps page to lead on the smart TV and nobody ever fixed it, got out of bed and foxed it myself by switching TV off and on via wall switch. My breakfast did not come with the toast it should have not the sauce I asked for but that point I couldn't be bothered to ask someone so just lived with it. X-ray was planned for after my expected leaving time, took a few nurses to sort it out one of whom had no clue. The fee for a single day usage of the physiolab was very high same cost as I rented it for a week) and this was no discussed with me before the operation. Was quite awkward to discuss with the nurse at the time.

Suggested improvements
A more obvious leader of the service. Less computerisation and scanning and more genuine care and personal ownership of patient care.

The consultant surgeon and anethsetist are top notch and my operation went fantastic. It was just the rest of the hospital staff that were struggling to piece things together.
