Overall, I had a fantastic experience. It was the first time for me in hospital and I felt I was on a film set. Everything was immaculate and thought through. I was not lacking anything. The rooms were superb, the place is v relaxing and calming. My blood pressure has never so goo! I felt safe, secure, informed and cared for.

Nurses on 5th - some excellent, some rather laid back. I would have to ask certain nurses more than once for something e.g. water, food order, paperwork, etc. There was a difference between the number of general visits nurses would make to the room. Some were simply more on it but all were good. The best was Ella who did nights on I think 31 July or 1 Aug.

Dr Sporton was excellent all round.

Consultants were all completely professional, courteous, positive, reassuring and communicated matters perfectly. I was never in any doubt what was going on and the outcomes. Porters - fantastic, helpful, professional, jovial, reassuring, genuine, etc. They have a chat when porting you. I found that a positive experience, particularly when going into theatre. Nurses in ICU - fantastic, reassuring, helpful, positive, kind. The best was Deepal.
