The experience was excellent. The staff could not have even more caring, attentive or understanding. They listened to me and addressed any concerns that I had. I was given privacy when I needed it and was supplied with all of the information I needed when I was discharged.
The room I was in was very spacious and the facilities were very clean.
Overall I was very impressed and grateful to all f the staff who xared for me.
Suggested improvements
Nothing.
I would have liked to have had a conversation with the consultant post the surgery / in thee hospital, to ask questions about the actual surgery but understand time pressures. I did speak to another doctor who had reviewed my notes and answered my questions but it would have been preferable to speak to the consultant who performed the surgery
All of the staff were excellent both on the 4th floor and also whilst I was under the care of ICU.
