After 3 days in NHS Kings College Hospital with no contact with a doctor it was a relief to finally get the care I needed and speak to the doctors about my condition so I could start the recovery process.

On checking out with a months supply of medicine, it would have been good to know how to order more medicine as my GP said they cannot prescribe the blood thinners due to not having ''shared care''. I had to chase about an appointment with the haematology / DVT department as I do not know the long term plan or if I am responding to the medicine and the blood clots are dispersing. An appointment has been made now.

Dr Patel was fantastic. Diligent, caring, empathetic and someone I would trust with my life.
