I had an incredibly good experience. My nurse, Titilayo Edovia, was an angel. She was professional, kind, sweet and made both my mum and I feel so safe in her care. I have a needle phobia and just talking to her calmed me down. The theatre staff, especially Isaac who took me to the theatre, were so kind and so professional. My doctors Professor Mughal and Ahmed Ziyad, made this experience really comfortable for me and took my worries and phobias into consideration. It’s true that private care in London is exceptionally good when compared to many countries, but I think Cleveland Clinic is probably one of the best in the world in terms of facilities. Especially the level of cleanliness was impressive.

Suggested improvements
The only thing was that the door of the bathroom in my room could not close fully and I found that slightly uncomfortable.

Professor Mughal is a down to earth, friendly person, who takes the time to speak to his patients and explain to them the process. I felt that I had the time to ask all of my questions and he gave enough time to answer everything in detail in a way that I could understand.

My nurse, Titilayo Edovia. She will be in my thoughts and prayers. I have a needle phobia and I suffer from anxiety. In her care I felt so relaxed, I almost didn’t recognise myself. Cleveland Clinic is extremely lucky to have a person like her working for them and I hope that she is rewarded and appreciated for the hard work and kindness that she offers so selflessly to her patients. Thank you Titilayo for everything!
