My husband was a patient in this hospital for more than 4 weeks.
We cannot fault the treatment he received in any way
The nurses were always attentive and pleasant as were all of the staff.
I stayed many hours with him at his bedside and never once did I ever feel that I was in the way. or a nuisance.
It would be probably somewhat better if a few more ,were employed at the weekend as there were times when they did seem short staffed and although this must have put more pressure on the existing staff, in no way did it diminish the overall atmosphere of the hospital. We found it welcoming, helpful and peaceful.
If you have to be in hospital, and most would rather not Chepstow hospital is the place to be !
