All staff were friendly
Day surgery patient in for cholecystectomy. Everything ran like clockwork the staff were absolutely lovely, nothing was too much trouble for them and they did their very best to make you comfortable especially post op. When it was time to go home the nurse made sure I had all the post care information I needed and double checked that I was ok with everything even to the point of my journey home. The whole day was a calm relaxed environments hick helped me to calm my nerves. I'd like to say thank you to all involved.
It was wonderful to be able to access treatment closer to my home, rather than having to travel to Cheltenham for five weeks. The unit in Hereford is modern, clean and bright. All staff made me feel very welcome and at ease. The Radiographers were particularly good - efficient and yet caring. They kept me informed about the progress of my treatment and gave clear instructions during the treatment. Excellent! Another machine would be of great benefit, but I am aware of the financial constraints on the NHS at the moment. I am involved in fundraising for Cancer Support, but would like to feel that the money raised is going towards the provision of a second machine.
Excellent care given to me from all staff in radiotherapy and oncology departments.
Very good service, really friendly - smiling nurses etc. Gave me lots of confidence today. Thanks.
-Clear explanation of treatment.
