Today (as most days) I found my grandmother soaked in urine with a dirty pad up her back and pants on, absolutely unexpectable level of care and dignity being provided by staff. My grandma is not eating food so the only calories she is receiving daily is complain, today I was refused by a nurse for her to have another one. Staff are not taking her to the 100 when we are not there and allowing her to urinate in a pad when she is perfectly capable of walking to the toilet. I can honestly say had it not been for family and friends pushing fluids and medical care for my Nan day and night these last 2 weeks, my Nan probably wouldn't have made it to today and recovered the way she has.
