The care I received was excellent and the staff were very professional but friendly and kind. My only criticism was that I arrived on the ward at 8am and wasn't operated on until after 4pm. Although I understand that this was probably in case someone didn't turn up or a procedure didn't take as long as predicted, I could have arrived at 11 or 12 noon which would have given me a shorter day but still have given the surgeons the required flexibility. Having said that the care I received was first class.
