I went for a day case elective procedure in orthopaedics. The process was very efficient, I met the anaesthetist and the consultant before the surgery who dealt with my questions and concerns. the staff were very supportive, the procedure went well and I was home just after teatime. My room was cleaned 3 times while I was in it, the corridors and ward were spotless. I understand that the hospital is getting better results than the private sector with regard to outcome , satisfaction and infection rates. When my hip needs doing at some time in the future I will be coming back.
