All the staff are so friendly as my treatment progressed I started to see the difference in my mood and this helped lift my spirits from something I thought I would never be able to get over. I said that I would like a lmagazineto read, the nurse got me a magazine straight away she asked what's kind I liked and didn't just dump one in front of me the coffee was nicer than the stuff you get on the ward.

When I was told about ECT I was very nervous about what it involved and how it would help with my physical symptoms and depression after going to The ECT unit all the staff helped put me at ease they explained fully what it entailed and what it's aim was the treatment is not bad I started to be me again I started to cok for my family and looked for nice fud. This was down to the dedication of the ECT staff and the quality of staff you have here, I can eat again and look forward to each day getting better than before

I now have my life back and would hope anyone would realise that there is always hope after ECT the aftercare is fantastic all the staff are so friendly and I nonticed this more as my treatment progressed. I was how the nurses treated the difficult people nothing was too much and not once did a nurse walk past and ignore or say you will have to wait. The care was fantastic I alwats got tea with 2 sugars without asking and in the start I did not drink it but sometimes I think I did drink it I got my taste back . I liked coming to see the nurses who were gastric and helpful to us and we're happy to be at work

When ECT was explained to us by both the GP and care worker we were both very sceptical about having an electric shock through my wife's brain, it sounded horrific to say the least. We were horrified to think this would help. We went to the ECT suite for a talk with the doctors and nurses and from the moment we walked through the door all the staff we met helped to make you feel relaxed and at ease. The treatment was explained from start to finishin a way which was easy to understand. Not only do they look after the person having treatment but also their partner taking time to help in whatever way they can. I would recommend anyone to talk to the staff if they have any concerns they will soon put you at ease

The staff took the time to get to know me and listened to what I had to say. They supported me when I was struggling and made me laugh when I was down. They helped me realize that people do care.

Activities are good but ward like to go swimming and horse riding. Happy with the food, would like to see better options or staff diets. Staff have spent time with me always someone to talk to when needed.
