The good thing is how the staff are so nice and understanding, I have kidney stones at the moment and none of the staff rush me or push me to do things. I find that very much to their credit. They are such very nice people and always seen willing to help me with anything.
The staff at Berrywood hospital are amazing at their jobs. All staff are well trained and extremely supportive and empathetic. Queries are dealt with and issues are resolved in their due course. The volume of staff and wide range of different HCP's has enabled a holistic recovery to be made. I would like to thank all staff including, Lynn, Lereness, Matthew, Chris T, James, Sophie, John, Natasha, Louise, Jubida, Alima, Anna and apologies if I've left anyone out. - Charity and Teresa. The facilities are extremely clean and tidy. Improvements: HCP's to receive more recognition and able to have more input in patient. Care as these are the people who build relationships with patients. Electronic note taking and more time. :-)
I was denied my medication and only when I asked for it at 11:45. I was breathalysed and finally allowed to have my medication. Staff had said I had two bottles of wine when I went out but that was untrue.
Thank you for your feedback and we understand that a delay in having medication can be distressing. However if staff have concerns over any patient being intoxicated they need to be careful when administering medication for the benefit of the patient.
I think the mate staff on Bay are brilliant especially Matthew and Chris, Mike or Mark, I forget his name but they are so professional and friendly.
I loved Xmas day.
Matthew really made it for me.
Thank you.
Thank you so much for acting so quick just after new year's weekend and for trying to get most things sorted for everyone. Many new faces here at Bay ward so I suppose it is not an easy task. Work more with patients (considering our suggestions) could improve more the standard of care.
