To improve - more 1 - 1 - more staffing. I wanted to go out for a walk approaching 6 pm but sometimes staff have to cover other wards.
All staff helpful. No nasty staff. I feel I could talk to all staff about my problems.
Each member of staff treated every patient a like. Myself and another patient felt one staff member was quite abrupt - I complained and it was dealt with very well and I am happy.
More handrails please. It is my bathroom into my bedroom. Staff helpful and lovely.

This ward is have everything to keep relationship, telefon, computer. I appritatiate it.

Bad:
Long wait, quite a long walk to the right room. Did not know where I was to go. Very little conversation with the consultant. He gave me the impression that he was not sure why I was there.
I spent 13 weeks on Manika ward and was looked after very well by all the staff. I feel a special mention should be given to Sara (the matron) who was always very helpful in dealing with any problems or queries asked of her. I particularly had a problem with attending ward round and was very anxious. Sara always tried to attend with me when possible and I always felt very supported at these times. She was on the ward regularly so was always easy to find if you needed her. The ward team seemed very happy under Sarah's care.
