Response from Berrywood Hospital

Thank you for taking time to feedback about your care on Meadowbank. I am sorry you feel your stay has been too long. The team try to ensure that rehabilitation needs are clearly defined so that interventions can be delivered in a timely manner to support you maintaining independent living skills in the community to prevent readmission. Please discuss with your keyworker and the MDT what further needs to be done to support your discharge.

Response from Berrywood Hospital

Thank you for your feedback. This issue was recognised by the team and a business case for additional staffing submitted through the head of service. This has resulted in 2 new OT Technical instructors recruited for dedicated rehabilitation activities, in particular for community based activities. We endeavour to include patients and co-produce what happens on the ward via our weekly co-production meetings and will continue to listen to your concerns and address them.
