The first visit was chaotic. Our son was heavily sedated, in discomfort sat in waiting area with the congealed remains of his meal. He had all his belongings with him. Spoke to [name removed] who didn’t seem to appreciate she worked in a psychiatric hospital. Very uncaring. Although during a brief chat she did manage to make some notes on a paper towel. Another member of staff Innocent…(very pleasant ) did get our son mixed up with another patient who had same name as our son… ie told us that he needed to address substance abuse and then wouldn’t attempt suicide. Shocking. Our son didn’t use substances or attempt suicide. The most helpful member of staff was [name removed]. Never met him but was very reassuring on the phone on a number of occasions.

Suggested improvements
