This clinic ruined my body and scarred me for life... Forget the good reviews and look at the peoples lives they have ruined. Do not go to this clinic, you have been warned!

I made an enquiry at Belverdere Clinic for a Breast Reduction and had my first meeting with Jo. I’m 25 years old and always hated the size/shape of breasts. On arrival Jo made me feel very welcome and went through all medical question, she then gave me two surgeons to review and went through pricing. After researching the surgeons I decided to have a consultation with Shadi Ghali. On the day of my consultation an hour before my appointment I received a very flustered phone call from Sharon asking to move my appointment from today the 11th of September to the 21st of September. 10 DAYS LATER! I was confused and explained I had waited two weeks for this appointment. Sharon said the surgeon turned up late and was running an hour behind. Explaining I had booked the day off work and that I could come an hour later she then agreed for me to still have my appointment. When I turned up Sharon then was bad mouthing the surgeon explaining they turn up when they feel like it half an hour early or an hour late.. When speaking with Shari the surgeon he did make me feel at ease. No female nurse was present when I went into the room for my consultation which looking back I feel is a little off considering this was a breast reduction consultation with a male surgeon. However it was clear there was something not right between the reception staff and Shari and no real communication. Avaialbity wise Shari hadn’t released a date for October and was only going to be at the clinic one day that month. He expected it was likely to be Tuesday the 9th of October. Again I found this a little strange as this was only 4 weeks away. I asked to discuss pricing where Shari said to speak to the team outside. I then went back and spoke to Jo who asked me how I got on and how much I thought the procedure was going to cost. Quoting the number Jo originally gave me she laughed it off and added an additional £2,000-£2,500 to the cost! Reason being she didn’t realise how big my boobs where! I was gobsmacked and left in tears I felt turely messed around.. After this the clinic where meant to call me to confirm surgeon Shari’s availability for October. Did I receive any calls or an email? NOPE! Speaking to a friend I was advised to look into private hospitals and have now had the surgery two days ago with the BMI GROUP. Ladies please take my advise, do your research and don’t settle. All I can say is I am so happy I didn’t book with the Belverdere clinic!

I found the Belvedere private hospital very modern and clean, my operation went okay and i am very happy with the results!!

Disgraceful place. Botched surgery plus rude & unhelpful staff. Only interested in taking your money, don't expect quality results or after care. Go elsewhere.
