We were meant to be having a home birth in our hired birthing pool but when we rung DRI there were no midwives available. We had no choice but to go to hospital but chose to come to Bassetlaw and so glad we did. Amazing experience in the birth pool room looked after exceptionally by Caitlin and Laura, felt so looked after and supported the whole time.
All the staff are so friendly and helped relax me for our planned section.
The theater team were amazing.
The majority of the staff are absolutely faultless but some of the midwives don't always listen and can be a bit bossy, leading to bad feeling and tension, but overall a fantastic hospital.
All the midwives were good, just not enough around when you need them and had to wait several times.
Very good. Thank you :-).
Professional, friendly, caring.
All staff were excellent.
Thank you.
Sam Whalley.
Just to say thank you was amazing and made my stay hear easier thanks for all you did.
Good experience.
Happy with care.
The midwife care was excellent.
The information regarding the strep and antibiotics was misleading and conflicting statements from the doctors.
Very helpful midwives, always ready to answer any questions and very helpful.
