The waiting room is clean and tidy. This was the only good part of our visit

Whilst I appreciate my daughter is 14 and competent, she is chronically shy and reluctant to answer questions. All the questions were directed to her and I was basically told that the bullseye spots and recent return from Italy was nothing to be concerned about because there were no ticks on her body. *Her temp was 37.3, she was told she had a low grade temp, she didn’t, this is within suitable levels. *She was told not to worry about the increasing number of spots, that was causing her anxiety more than the sudden development of spots. *It was implied that I had googled her spots and come to the wrong conclusion (I hadn’t googled it) *To buy antihistamine and carry on. *only to be concerned if she developed pyrexia or became unwell and then to return. We then drove to another paeds a&e where my daughter was prescribed a strong steroidal cream which has cleared up the spots and they reassured that we had done the right thing. Especially as our gp practice doesn’t see spots and rashes- they advised Abingdon minors
