Since the new system that Symphony has introduced its been horrendous just trying to get someone to answer the phone to make an appointment, get repeat perscriptions, and now there is a long waiting list to see a doctor ( anything upto 3 to 4 weeks) I even proved it to Boots the chemist surgery that the calls was not getting through by going there and calling the number, and they heard the calls were either cutt off or an answer machine came on, whilst the staff sat there and the phone`s were not ringing at all. so do tell us please how can people get served when this keeps happening ? I had to walk to the surgery in which to get an appointment and a repeat perscription, I was also told that I had to call chard in which to get a repeat prescription, where it can be done at the surgery , its like going around in circles, but this has only happened since the new system of symphony came into operation BTW I have COPD also.. Also got told by a receptionist at boots to double up on my medication and I was very ill through doing so..thankfully the hospital helped and told me to stop taking that amount as it was dangerous, but this has only been part of the problems since the new system, and to us it was a wonderful surgery before symphony took over..bring back normality please? Also I am sure other people have had bad problems with this new system, but the forms for complaints should be given out and not just left in the surgery.

Nothing was good. I have been trying to book an appointment with the doctor for 3 days, calling every day at 800 unsuccessful. I am in preparation and had some worries of having a tummy ache, I was offered Dr's appointment in 2 weeks time!! This is ridiculous. I pay much tax to be able to have doctor consultation at the right time!

I received fantastic service from the receptionist, and they are very good I'm not asking too many questions about why you require a doctor or nurse, they get you in within 2/3 weeks. You get treated with respect! The one thing you can use is having a system where If the doctor or nurse is running to let the patient know! This happened to me on two occasions when no one was there only myself! Other than this No! A perfect practice!

I do not think you log in a screen for patients is suitably placed. There is no privacy. It is bad that a name comes up in large writing clearly visible to the whole waiting room. Also, I didn't recognize me so someone else name came up. I strongly feel that the screen should face the wall.

Doctors, nurses always helpful and provide good advice when needed. I like the fact that there are two surgeries especially as I work in town so the boots health centre is very handy for me.
