ALL the staff at this practice are professional and very helpful. I have always received a friendly attitude from both the reception staff, the Nurses and the Doctors and would highly recommend this practice.

The ONLY weakness in service is being able to get through by telephone to arrange an appointment and sometimes being unable to get a prompt appointment. I don't see this as entirely the surgery's responsibility but as the result of financial and government pressures on GPs and NHS generally

Thank you for your positive feedback. We try our very best to give all of our patients the time and best care that we can whenever possible. We sympathise with our patients' fustrations and work closely with our Patient Participation Group. We would encourage our patients to play an active role in the future development of the practice services and the PPG would welcome new members.

An appointment was needed to remove stitches after surgery - 10 days was the time limit given by hospital. There was no appointment until 14 days after the reason given the practice now has only one nurse! Getting an appointment with a doctor of your choice is becoming more difficult as they do not seem to open their diary, you then have to check on time or phone each day. In my opinion this surgery has gone down hill in the last couple of years. The reception and waiting area is less than warm and welcoming. Doctors seem to change on a regular basis. I didn't require treatment. I am here to help my husband.

Thank you for your comments. We are sorry that the practice did not meet your expectations of the service. We have sadly seen the parting of several GPs and a Practice Nurse over a short period of time but have continued to provide the same level of GP appointments through the engagement of qualified sessional GPs. Doctors also have outside committments, holidays and training courses to attend. We would like to assure you that we always aim to provde a high standard of service to our patients. We would like to inform you that our Health Care Assistants are currently being trained to remove sutures/clips.
