I attended South Tyneside hospital on several occasions with abdominal pain and was referred for scans and heart checks which came back all ok. I tried throughout to explain to hospital staff it was not abdominal but pelvic and I did not feel I was being listened too so I made an appointment to see Dr Gill as I was concerned the pain was becoming unbearable and she listened to me and done a pelvic examination and sent me for the CA125 blood test which has came back out of range and Dr Gill seen me immediately with the results and has arranged a follow up ultrasound urgent to detect possible ovarian cancer. I am very happy with the thorough way in which Dr Gill handled my concerns and the support and advise she provided.
