I have been visiting the health centre quite frequently due to an ongoing problem, and the service has been really helpful. I really like that they work mostly by the drop in centre which is run every weekday morning, so allows you to be seen straight away, and never has too long a waiting time. As I have been coming frequently it has been really helpful that they have let me see the same nurse each time, Jo, who has been really helpful throughout and always gives a good amount of time to discuss the problem and options. The appointments have been really thorough and efficient, not just in helping immediate problems but also ensuring all the relevant tests are carried out afterwards.

The Health Centre is the best Doctor's Surgery I have ever been a patient at. The level of care there is fantastic. The reception staff are very polite and it's really easy to get an appointment. Plus, if you can't get one quickly enough, there is the drop in every morning where you can sit and wait to see a nurse, who will happily refer you onto a Doctor if need be. The nurses are absolutely fantastic and the practice couldn't run without them. They are so kind and so good at what they do. I could name Sarah, Jo and Amy just for starters as being so wonderful at treating patients with kindness and compassion as well as knowledge. The Doctors are readily available and my own GP, Doctor Boyd is particularly wonderful. The blood test nurse is the gentlest woman on earth as well. All of the staff at this practice are so friendly and offer the highest level of care. I graduated years ago but specifically asked to stay on because I knew I wouldn't find anywhere better than here/

Great surgery and great staff. I have never had any problems. Staff are always helpful despite, at times the surgery being extremely busy.

An outstandingly helpful, committed, friendly and interactive group of doctors, nurses and reception staff. When I hear complaints about other surgeries, I say: "Sussex University Health Centre shows that it can be done right". Only one tiny nitpick: must there be compulsory TV and sound in the waiting room?

I have been a patient at this GP's surgery for many years. I recommend it all the time! The nurses are friendly, efficient and professional and the GPs are wonderful. They take time to listen and to explain and discuss options and (though they must be very busy) never make you feel rushed. In general I feel relaxed about talking to both the nurses and GPs about health issues and feel confident that I will receive a full explanation of diagnosis, prognosis and possible treatment options. Thus, I feel well informed about health issues and treatments. Over the last 25-30 years, I have had two really excellent GPs at this practice (the first one retired). Thoroughly recommended!
