As always excellent care and attention from Dr Showman. It is disappointing that the first rate medical care we received is tarnished by our experience of the booking process and the reception staff. On a previous visit (11 February) we were surprised to witness a member of staff walking her dog through the reception area and the corridor leading to the surgeries.

I have been trying to see a doctor for the last 3 weeks and have not been successful for various reasons. April 16th 2015 8.20 am This morning I came to the clinic and I got a number in the upper 20s. I asked the receptionist what was the average time in which I could see a dr (because I had a n 11 am appointment at Edgware hosptial). She said she would not know and I undersand that. 10 minute later when I realised that the likelihood is I am not going to be seen by a doctor before 10 am I requested the same reception (in white top and short dark hair) if she can squeeze me in a little earlier and she said she cannot do that since everyone else was waiting. I politely requested if she can try as I was concerned I won't be able to see a doctor before 10 am, and she categorically said she cant do anything about it. I think in some cases when there is no ememrgency from other patients she could have been a little helpful in letting me see a doctor a little earlier.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this wonderful Practice. ALL the GPs I have experience of, both personally and when caring for my elderly mother, are excellent, namely Dr.Buckman, Dr.Bezz, Dr. Kholl, Dr. Diatz, Dr.Valleylil and Dr.Sekarwat. The reception staff worthy of note are Karen and Pauline in particular both of whom nothing is too much trouble, even in a very pressurised environment. The Practice nurse is both kind and caring too. This GP Surgery is large and must be challenging to run well but this is all managed and organised professionally and efficiently by Manager Amanda Riley who has been so helpful and resourceful to me many times in the past. Well done Amanda and ALL AT THE PRACTICE.
