The waiting times for standard appointments are currently over 3 weeks. If you go in the triage for an emergency appt I have twice been 'diagnosed' over the telephone without any physical examination. As you never see the same Dr there is no continuity of care so previous conditions can be overlooked. The Drs seem very keen to refer you for further tests at the hospital which are unnecessary and a real waste of limited NHS resources.
Excellent care.
GP listened.
Able to answer my queries.
Dr Reeves was very helpful suggested different meds and explained what uses are. I came in feeling anxious and left feeling as though finally my pain may go away.
Very happy, and very friendly and helpful reception staff.
Care and kindness from the (overworked) receptionists is our good luck - as they are our point of call. Second -the (again) ever worked doctors who help us with our concerns with small and large health worthies are a God send. For improvements - maybe more doctors.
I had to have a blood test, so booked an appointment with the nurse. Unfortunately, after the nurse had taken the blood, she turned her head away to put the bottle on a tray and while doing so the needle, which was still in my arm held by the nurse's other hand, moved up and pricked the vein it was sticking into - result a large bruise where the blood had been taken.
