In the last 3 years, i've used this surgery more than i've used any surgery in the last 30+ years! 2 children, 2 fits, 1 serious bout of bronchiolitis and a bit of periorbital cellulitis on the side, and this surgery has been exemplary. I've had many 'emergency' visits to this surgery with my son in the last 6 months due to breathing difficulties. Even when i've called, and said that things are not desperate enough to go to A&E, the receptionists have noted his young age and have insisted that he is triaged. We are usually seen within half an hour, treated to try and stay at home, or referred efficiently to ESH CAU where the staff know we are coming, and have a room/ bed ready for us. I really can't rate the practice highly enough, from the receptionists that are always helpful, to the GP's who always listen to me as a mother, and take my concerns seriously and respectfully. The specialist nurse, Lucie Gamman, is on the ball and fits us into her busy schedule; she has helped us get control of my son's condition so that we no longer have a 4 weekly panic dash to hospital, and he is a much happier child, who is thriving and enjoying life to the full now!
