I was on hold for 20 minutes to get an appointment and after that the phone just cut off. This isn’t the first time I’ve rang either and had to wait ages to get an appointment. It’s absolutely ridiculous I have to wait that long and then the wait for an appointment is also just as bad, evidently understaffed and patients are suffering consequently.
If u need a routine apptmt it's much less stressful to do it on line. If u need an urgent apptmt be there at 8.30 u probably won't be seen but it's easier than trying to get thru on the phone . Some of the docs are brill and therefore difficult to get to see.
The gp (GB)) I spoke to gave me no help, didn't listen to me at all so replied to me in terms that were totally inapplicible to me, and when I asked directly how to manage the problem he hadn't listaned to, he just ignored my question, leaving me very upset and confused.
There are some fantastic GPs at this practice but I'd rather be very ill than have to see or speak to this person again - God help the practise's patients if ever he becomes the top partner - I hope I'm dead before that happens, if it does happen.
Always brilliant, from front desk reception to the Doctors. I am ever grateful.
i have been a patient at this practice for around 30 years. I have never ever had cause to worry about appointments/treatments from any of the practitioners. One thing that stands out for me is how the practice stays 'current' providing additional services for their patients. These 'back office' services are a valuable resource and supportive to patient need. Long may it continue!
