Service is very good, surgery facilities are excellent, but the wait time for an appointment is too long and the NHS referral process is just so inefficient & wasteful

In my case it was regarding a colonoscopy check up. All the information is in my records. The need for a referral is black & white. Why don't NHS GPs just check the records and then refer these cases without any face to face appointment. This would free up GPs time and improve efficiency as well as reduce overall wait times

Generally the service is very good. The staff are patient and helpful. The surgery is obviously very busy and there are delays with telephone answering and appoint,emt booking.

I had a series of blood tests done at the surgery on 29th July. Unfortunately, one important test was missed off the list and I will need to make a re-appointmnet for this.

I booked in advance and saw dr mcwilliam face to face. She checked my skin and varicose veins very efficiently and gave me lots of advice

I can’t think of any improvements and it is a joy to have dr mcwilliam as my gp as she is so informative approachable and always has a cheerful smile
