The waiting times for both my call to be answered and the appointment date are really quite long

I arrive in good time for my appointment but am left waiting for over ten minutes before being seen. Whilst appreciating “on the dot” timings are not achievable due to the nature of dealing with people, it would be nice for my wait to be acknowledged with a simple “ sorry you’ve had to wait beyond your appointment time” Just little things like that can make such a difference

I see my GP. On a regular basis of which is pre-booked by her. Only the other day I needed a doctor to look in my ear as it was sore and very itchy to the point of driving me mad! No one was available as two doctors were away but someone could see me 4 days later. I wasn’t sure if a chemist could see me but receptionist said a doctor needed to see me. So I took the appointment. I decided I’ll speak with the pharmacist and he had a quick look and could see it was sore an gave me HC 45 cream. It’s work wonders so cancelled the nurse. I love the Doctors Surgery and they look after my needs impeccably.

I gave my answer as I was telling the truth. Everyone has been both helpful and polite.

As far as I’m concerned it couldn’t have been better.

We are very lucky I believe .. 2.5 hours from phone appointment to picking up antibiotics from local pharmacy

Telephoning can be extremely tedious. Always a lengthy queue. Perhaps utilising text messaging, email or WhatsApp for simple messages would ease the problem.
