As I have said before, I am always very happy with the Glebe Surgery, the staff and the building. All the staff are always helpful, polite and very supportive.

Not enough doctors at the surgery, resulting in typically having to wait 4 weeks to see your doctor. This is a political 'Funding Formula' issue and a disgrace. In this particular case, I was able to see the duty doctor, but only after having to first go to the surgery, then sent to the consulting chemist for a consultation, then sent back to the surgery by the chemist, then sent home to wait for an SMS message, through which I had to send pictures of the problem via a link sent to me by the surgery, and then finally back to the surgery to see the duty doctor.

The resolution is out of your hands. The BMA and the government have to sort out this situation. Loads of doctors are trained, unemployed and looking for work while surgeries can not employ them because of the current 'Funding Formula', and consequently, patients receive a truly lousy service.
