Managed to get appointments within a reasonable time and receptionists helpful over the phone and in surgery.
I came in for an appointment and was given 0930 04 September. When i arrived and couldnt check in I was told it was on 06 September not as I was advised. On the morning of 06 Sept i received a phone call to change it to 1030. The consultation itself was all satisfactory.
Glebe is a great facility & the admin are very good. The issue is that this was a completely unnecessary appointment.
For my previous appointment for the same subject Dr A Garrett wrote very poor quality & incomplete notes. Despite the appointment being for a referral & this being the main subject discussed the Dr did not mention a referral in her summary at all. Instead she only mentioned to wait for symptoms then come back again. This would likely be a death sentence for me
When I read the notes on the NHS it made me very anxious and confused so I had to make this new repeat appointment for the same subject. Dr Garrett was very reassuring that she did plan to refer me, and that the symptoms notes was just standard text but I still feel this was very caused by lack of care when writing and checking the notes and caused unnecessary anxiety as well as wasting a precious NHS appointment slot
It was a telephone conversation and Dr Sarah was brilliant. She listened to what I had to say.
