I called in at my surgery with an urgent problem and was very pleased to be able to see a doctor (my own) within 20 minutes and given advice on my problem. Excellent service.

Appointment was as soon as possible but was some distance ahead.

Appointment options were very limited one time offered or a two week wait. Doctor was helpful and understanding. Surgery was spotless. Shame that the online prescription system I was advised I was already registered for seems to have completely failed and so having finally galvanised myself to go and ask for some help with mental health issues because I was at breaking point, so far nothing has come of it. When I contacted the surgery to ask if this delay was standard in these circumstances I was simply told, “Well we’ve done our bit.” To remedy this apparent system failure, the script is being reissued for me to fetch it from a chemist, something I could have done several days ago. It’s hardly surprising people facing mental health issues struggle - the support simply isn’t there to catch people already at their lowest ebb.

See above. I do not feel this has been well handled.

Making appointments by telephone have been difficult recently due to staff shortages. No problem if I go into the surgery and receptionists and call answered are always very pleasant and helpful.

Everything was perfect.
