Firstly my HRT repeat prescriptions were removed from my app without any communication. Then I was given a review appointment with the pharmacist who failed to call me on either of my numbers. I called the clinic who checked my file and said I should have been booked with a GP. When I finally saw a GP I explained what I needed to which she agreed to redo a prescription for 3 months but the prescription was incorrect. On a positive note when I called the clinic again the receptionist and a different Doctor sorted the problem out swiftly. This whole situation took almost 2 weeks to sort from my first point of contact. I appreciate there is a lot of pressure on the system but there appears to be poor communication with patients and between staff when things change, to ensure the correct person is seen in a timely manner.

Suggested improvements
Better initial communication via the app or text as to why all of my repeat prescriptions had been removed despite pharmacy review earlier in the year. Perhaps the pharmacists should be aware of the changing HRT review requirements. A system of prescription checking and communication between pharmacy and GPs. Online booking system would help for those who work during the morning hours and are unable to call the clinic at this time to book appointments.
