My previous experience was like a nightmare. My travel plans were changed at short notice and I found myself short of meds for my amended trip. I spoke to Boots Pharmacy who marked my Script “urgent”. I took it to The Glebe Reception. This was pm 24 July from my recollection. Every possible reason was given for not signing my Script and even the following day it still was missing. Boots helped and I received my meds 12 hours before my departure. I realise there are protocols and rules to be adhered to where medication is concerned but surely the system’ must have some slack built in to accommodate unusual events. Likewise, ‘showing/feeling empathy’ towards patients is a skill some Receptionist need to be briefed on. Thank you.
