An appointment was made for 2pm but when I arrived the receptionist said I hadn't turned up. She advised me that it was for 12.15 and that a text had also been sent. I showed her my phone so she could see I had nothing from the surgery and that I have turned up. I waited 3 weeks for this appointment. She went out to the back and came back sating that I could see Dr Marco the next day. I have been told on numerous occasions when trying to get an appointment with him that he wasn't available so this appointment did surprise me. She was excellent in her understanding and Compassion to my dilemma a d I couldn't have asked for better assistance.

Suggested improvements
There was definitely a blip in the system. Just one of those things. I hasn't to add that I had rang before weeks previous and that receptionist was most unhelpful. She must have told me she had been a carer 5-6 times and visited patients with condition. Excuse me, caring and knowing are different and so are patients. She also wanted a photo and when advised you couldn't see anything due to the swelling she still demanded one to book a phone call. I explained a phone call is a waste of time as so is a photo but I didn't get anywhere so I said don't bother and put the phone down. I thought I could have various blood complications and to be honest on that occasion I was was very angry.
