Appointments with nurses and non GP health practitioners are easier to get. I saw the nurse on this occasion. The administrator making my appointment did not convey my message clearly about reason for seeing the nurse. I had asked for a blood test ( explained why) and a pneumonia vaccination. The nurse was only expecting me for a blood test. Fortunately she was able to deal with my additional request on the spot.
